Brittany is a friend of ours and when she first started her photography business, I was pregnant with my second son and she asked if she could do our maternity photos to build out her portfolio. We happily obliged , but didn't really know what to expect. Brittany had a vision she wanted for the photos, so she helped with outfit choices and location. During the session , Brittany guided and positioned us so she could get the photos that she had in her mind. She just kept saying "trust the process." And I'm so glad we did. When I say I was blown away at the final result of the photos that would be an understatement. They were absolutely perfect. So obviously we asked her to do our newborn photos too. She came to her house when I was 10 days postpartum , and we did a family style photo shoot with our almost 2 year old and newborn son. Brittany was super respectful and understanding of the fact that we had just had a baby and worked with us while the baby was cranky & needing breaks from photos. Once again the final photos were stunning. One year later , we again asked Brittany to take our family photos for our sons' 1st and 3rd birthdays. The first 2 sessions we did with her or at our home on our property but for the most recent photo session , we went up to an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway at sunset. And WOWWWW. JUST WOWWW. The location was AMAZING. We were so excited to get our photos back and see the final photos, because we knew they would be phenomenal. Well , I think phenomenal might be an understatement , because they were just out of this world AMAZING. So if you are in the Central Virginia area and want photos that are going to capture the moment perfectly, Brittany is it. We can't recommend her enough. Her communication is great and her personality is so genuine & fun 🤍📸
